I had the dealer replace clutch and throwout bearing last week, 80K miles, and they also installed new pedal assembly without me even mentioning the TSB. No more squeals from the throwout bearing and the whole clutch operation once again operates nice and tight, just like when the car was new.

Either they didn't replace it or they installed it wrong or something else is causing the squeak.
Check side-to-side play of the pedal
Check where it squeaks during travel
Do a visual inspection under the dash; depress the pedal; look for movement

Sometimes they actually need a little dab of grease. Carefully though.....and there are threads on that subject.

My guess would be it's just "new".........if you confirm all the checks "DB" just gave you.

I'll bet it goes away with a little useage?

Kk today after my car had been sitting outside for a while in the cold my clutch started feeling weird. It wouldnt "spring" back as strong. And the squeaking started again fml !!! And the crunching was there too !!! As soon as i got home i put some silicon lubricant on it and i started playing with it and the sqeakk and crunching was gone. Im scared shitless that the clutch with break.

Im waiting for my next oil change to get them to replace it. Which is in like 1000km. My question is do they replace the whole clutch unit ? Or just the bracket ??

So technically speaking this doesnt FOR SURE fix the squeaking and crunching problem. Cause mine brackets are perfectly fine. I think its coming from the cylinder thingy (lol sorry dont know what its called). It feels like 2 pieces of metal rubbing and it squeaks

I guess im a rare one around here. I have already had my clutch assembly replaced once back when my car had 98k miles. Now im at 156k mikes and it has snapped again. I managed to get it home 50 miles from where I was when it snapped. But man Am I p'd the f off. Mazda needs to come out with a solid steel frame pedal or something. Either that or they need to also pay for the extra part that reinforces the crappy one they still cant build right. Not only did I already have it replaced once, but im going on the 3rd assembly in this car. Go figure, still the original engine and still not a single problem or weird noise at 156k miles, but went through 3 clutches.

Is my 3rd clutch assembly going to be covered in this warranty? Even though it was only replaced by the same mazda part just a little over 50k miles ago?

What about when this 3rd one breaks and the 4th one?

I agree it sucks, but if you've been through 3, just get it welded or install a reinforcement bracket.

So my clutch started feeling weird and squeaking about a month or so ago, didn't really think anything of it. I had heard about the faulty bracket, but didn't think it would happen to me.

Took it back from the dealership (which will be a god damn thread of itself, because of what happened), and the mechanic noted 'poor clutch engagement' and 'possible hydraulic damage'.

So I took a look underneath tonight. The clutch bracket is f**king broken. Like, plain as day. And the mechanic KNEW it had a problem, and clearly didn't check. I need a new dealership.

Any squeaking/crunching, and you should take the car in IMMEDIATELY. Last thing you need is for the clutch to brake on the highway/when you REALLY need it.
