well one thing i have noticed based on mileage if i baby it too much, my fuel econmy not so great if im to rough its horrible.. but if i do a mix of both my fuel economy is real good, but when going on the highway ramp all depends on the ramp if its a nice ramp big cirlce i give her on the corner lol.. but if im cruising im usually in 6th at 100km/h mind you 5th and 6th gear aint much of a difference like.. 400rpm.. i find it useless.. i wish 6th was much longer, but oh well.. enjoy your new car make sure you post pictures..
p.s you change gears at the beep

So basically say im on coming down the ramp in 4th ... what youre saying is redline shift to 5h then redline AGAIN and shift to 6th ... thennn do my lane change ?? Im purposely coming back at night cause there is barely any cars on the highway .

lol no.. if you have driven a standard be fore , not much different just listen to the rotors... i usually change around the 4k mark... then after 3rd gear around the 3k mark and thats my civil way of driving, if im having a good day.. i usually wait for the beep lol..... like today i took it 196km/h fastest i ever took it when down shifting i usually dont if i know im going to a dead stop.. if you are familiar with a manual transmission you shouldn't have any issues , just listen to your rotors.

Sorry guys one more question. As im getting off the highway, into the ramp. I know people say its better to downshift but because ill be new to the car and not familiar as to what rpm to downshift at.... is it ok to put the car in neutral from 6th and then use my brakes ??

yes. Since you're new to manual and probably not adept at rev-match downshifting, as you are slowing down, just leave the car in 6th gear all the way till you need to stop. As you are coming to a stop, when the revs reach precisely 1500 rpm, push the clutch and put it into neutral and complete your braking. 1500 rpm is a good spot for smooth disengagement at the last moment. If you clutch in less than 1500 rpm, the engine actually puts the revs back up a bit.
The car idles at roughly 800 rpm in neutral only when the speed is at 0km/h/. If you are in motion and in neutral, it does not rev that slowly, it keeps it around 1200 - 1500 rpm.
You don't want to coast to a stop from 90 km/h coming off a highway even though you know ahead you have to stop. You want to keep it in gear because if you have to perform an emergency manuever you at least have some power with your engine engaged you can power away from a dangerous situation.

he does have a point on the dangerous situation, so if ur starting off definately do that, but eventually you will get used to it and it will feel like second nature

It's never ok to just be crusing along in neutral, except of course to avoid stalling in that last couple feet just before you come to a complete stop.
If you're in neutral you can't react to changing situations. Some exit ramps are quite long and a lot of things can happen.
Whereas rev-matching is a somewhat advanced skill, you should quickly acquire downshifting in general. The upside, besides having power available should you need it, is that you save brakepad wear due to engine braking.
Think of the manual trans like your 10-speed bike and similarly anticipate your power needs.

Another point ... don't run in neutral as you may not get it back into gear fast enough in an emergency. You will like not know what the rpms should be and you will likely attempt it too low. By the time you figure it out ... it may be to late!

umm... in the shape of your "diagram":
Engine Coolant Level
Low Washer Fluid Level
Charging System Warning Light
2 out of 3 are obvious... so I'm thinking it was your Engine Coolant Level light that light up.

Engine coolant...
and for the record, I think you're a real lazy person to not read the manual. You saved up 4 years to buy this car; it would lead me to think you're a patient person.
You really should divert some more patience and attention to the car now. If you want to treat this car right, you have to read read read and grow with knowledge to get to know everything about the car.

Congrats
That is a very nice Clean Car u got there.
But please make sure u have all the maintenance receipts.
Remember if u have a coolant leak. That is not good if u don't see any on the floor.
Don't want to scare u cause it could be nothing serious but please get it checked out asap.
