You can click the link and get your free tickets to the track (you still have to register at the track for lapping)

Yeah, get the buns and drinks... screw the hotdogs, I don't think people care enough to decide between hotdogs or sausages.. keep it simple. I'll bring the 50 sausages, someone else get the buns/drinks.

I will be with Al and go there early in the morning, doing crew pit work as required (maybe some photography as well), so see you all at the race track then...

Not expecting to get the new wing until Friday.

I doubt I will have the car for this weekend which means no mini meet and no mosport

Damn Scott that SUCKS!!!! hopefully some minor miracle happens and you get it quicker.

As much as I love to do so, I am only going to be the photograhper for ABRacing (Alan Balinsky Racing) activites during that day. I have to drive myself during lunch so I won't be available to take pics during that time (which I assume thats the event you want to have pics taken right)

Maybe someone else with more experience in handling cameras? I know there are quite a few good ones from mazda3 forums...

wow, this is getting out of hand. trannies, marc dressed in drag...you guys need to be more productive at work and stop posting this crap. lol.

footman, if you are meeting at scarb mazda in the morning to roll out with the group, then ya, i should have cooler space. i dont care whats in it, im just bringing it empty for people that need a cooler. unless there is something i should be picking up? I dont have a costco membership or anythign though, so bulk food isnt really my area. but i will gladly pitch in and buy some if its needed. Just let me know via PM chris if there is anythign else i can pitch in for or bring or help with or whatever.

kevin, i havent fixed the problem yet. I did a compression check today and all the numbers are above the minimum and within spec between chambers and rotors so now im all out of ideas. between me, the tech with more than 20 years of experience at mazda, and the IDS computer, we are all stumped and have run out of things to check. Its so frustrating. Although today i did confirm my check engine light does work. it set after the compression check (becaues you crank it over with the E-shaft sensor unplugged) and i was too lazy to clear it before i went home.

and BTW scott, that sucks about the INGS +1, but it sucks even more that you are getting the spoiler I was hoping to get. lol. You are killing me man. your car is the WB version of what i wish mine was.

no, the glowing cat is an effect of whatever the problem is. basically im going through massive amounts of fuel. even on the drive home from the track, a straight shot all the way home with the cruise set the hole time and i got just over 320 to that tank. It feels sluggish compared to many 8s that i've driven and even al pointed out its unwillingness to rev when he took me out for a spin. What kills me is that everything is in spec. everything!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want something to be broken so i can fix it and feel better. lol.

What about the ECU? Air/Fuel ratio where it should be?

well the air fuel ratio is not where it should be as it is running rich. the thing is, as far as the computer is concerned its running fine. the fuel trims (long and short) were all spot on, the front 02 was reacting just like it should (which took me a while to figure out as its not a normal O2 sensor). everything. its all perfect. it doesnt make sense at all. So the computer cant be at fault. its only as good as the information its getting and as far as it knows, its keeping the car running just like it should. I dont want to start throwing parts at it either...the first part i would buy is the front O2, but that sucker is likely pretty expensive, plus you dont learn anything by throwing parts at a car. I swear, if my hair was longer i'd be pulling it out. haha. I was really hoping to find some really low compression numbers and then throw an engine in it under warranty. I'd feel alot better that way.

Thunder - man that sucks! Won't be the same without your crazy 8 there!

Greg - when if you can ppl sell cheap used CATS on here, maybe pick one up and see what happens?!?! U might be using more fuel now since you are running the straight pipe. My fuel economy has gone down with my intake and exhaust, same happened on my old car.

I have no idea about what to do regarding the grill, you could buy a mini portable one from CDN tire.

There are no techs in Mazda that you can escalate this to? Trouble shooters that crack the really tough problems???

I was hoping we might all pick up some ice somewhere near scab mazda. You know how warm it gets in our trunks and thats an extra hours driving/thawing the ice will have to go through before i get there.

Edit: nvm, ill bring some ice. i just realized the cooler doesnt fit in the trunk anyways. It'll be chillin in the back seat, so its cool.

I saw a couple of grills today at CDN Tire, however if we go portable, we might need two grills, just to have food going at a proper pace.

Considering there are around 25 8s going, I think even three grills muight be a better idea, if people are willing to spready the cost around.

I wil have breakfast going too when we get to Mosport.

Menu will be Bacon (side), Eggs, Toast, and Fruit.

Maybe someone else can grab those coffee jugs from Tim Hortons.
