another new Canadian here!
Hey everyone, just wanted to make a quick post to announce another Canadian's arrival...
Been on here most of the day looking around and figuring out how things work in here
Anyway, look forward to learning alot and hopefully sharing alot, seems like a great place to spend my free time (and its constructive too! lol).

Hey, another Albertan! Welcome!
I noticed some great pricing on some 8's in Calgary recently. Many more on the market there than in Edmonton here.
Yeah, this forum is a great place to hang out during work...

Appears to be 4 of us so far now!
I'm loving the car, and actually dont mind it in winter driving either. I went and got winter tires and find that it handles better than just about anything I've ever driven in winter! I really dont want to drive it now (so much gravel out there) but, when ya gotta zoom, ya gotta zoom! Not looking forward to inspecting for chips later on.. oh well.. think positive!
Nice to 'meet' all you guys.. never know, might see ya on Hwy 2 someday..

Hehe chips are inevitable for such a low car, I have a chip just above the windshield on the driver side and a few on the front bumper. I was considering a clear bra when I first got the 8, but since it is a lease car, I decided not to, in case I decided not to keep her. If I do keep her, I'd probably get a kit anyways so I'd just clear bra that.

Yep, I hear ya there.. I'm debating on doing something when spring rolls around..!
Found a great detail place on the south side, did a great job in the summer when I had the unfortunate pleasure of being in the downwind of cementers pressure washing a wet cement driveway he buffed out a few for me then.
I hope you do keep her! I cant imagine life without..
