Air Conditioner Service Bulletin

Hi
I finally had a requirement to use the A/C today, I could feel the slight changes in Cold to Semi-warm to Cold air from the vents. I had the car for in for the PCM Flash & Transmition Damper Recall today and took along the Mazda USA Technical Service Buletin about the A/C Amplifier.

http://www.finishlineperformance.com...ocs/index.html

The Dealer had not seen this issue/bulletin before, and said he would follow up with Mazda Canada and get back to me .

Have any fellow Canadians had the amplifer replaced as per Service Bulletin?

Thanks

Cool Doubtful.....

I really doubt that Mazda Canada is even aware themselves that this is a fix......

They are usually two or three months behind the US.

I was in for oil change 10 days ago, they do know about the AC amplifier, they had mine ordered and i'm waiting for their call any day now. On the other hand, they had NO reflash available for my car and i have one of the 1st arrived in Mtl. (august 5th).

Well it's nice to read that Mazda is taking some of these problems and finding fixes for them.

My car had the ac issue, it also had the missing gromet for the engine cover.

Nothing for the surging on the cruise?

I've got the AC issue big time....RoadRunner, did you deal with Burlington Mazda? I'm going to call them for my scheduled service and ask that the AC Amplifier be replaced when I'm in. I get pits on the way to work sometimes because of it.

Wing, they said that in Toronto they were adressing thr cruise control problem, had many reported problems of surging and would get back at me when something has been done. Whatever that means....

i to used my ac the other day...

hey i too used my a/c the other day,car was sluggish obviously when on.
My real concern is the stalling when the compressor comes on!
has anyone also had there fan stay on after a "normal drive".
i realize there is supposed to a circuit to maintain the fans operation under a hot condition but i left mine run ,thinking this...An hour later i went out and it was still running. This has happened several times. Now i just double turn the car when i turn the igniton.
Have to have keiswetter mazda check it out and look for any of the latest ecu flashes availiable.
