Maybe if they bring it down to US$30000 drive away here then we may sell a bit more!

Nice find 'mez.

Polak told me there were about 2,000 - 2,500 a month in the NA market, and I thought I heard him wrong. That number is hard to imagine. Pretty incredible.

I see they have sold 10,555 in 5 months.

Cheers,
Hymee.

PS - Talking of statistics. That is milestone post for me, #2000

Congratulations on the 2K..........1999 were top class, we all could have done without the photo of the P76. Still, it took ***** to put it up, no arguing that point........so I s'pose all 2000 contributed something. :D :D

Seriously, that's a good effort. No doubt about it, 2000 posts requires a lot of staying power..........must be a Qld thing, staying power.......!

Regards, Gomez.

Thanks guys.

I didn't intend to hijack the thread like this! I was determined not to create a new thread just to annouce it though. :p

Lets make an effort to get this on back on topic. I'm sure someone would like to update it on a month by month basis

Cheers,
Hymee.

Lexic,

Thanks for the update. So I can make the graph a bit nicer, can you post the month by month sales?

I spoke with the dealer principal of the two Mazda dealers in Canberra on Monday, and he said they had delivered 27 since last July

I was unable to get the month by month sales, where I get them deletes the previous month and only gives me the current month, However, I was able to get a State by State break down for the month and the year to date.(2004)
The format is as follows :- State - June sales - Year to date sales

ACT - 3 - 13, NSW - 59 - 375, NT - 0 - 1, QLD - 27 - 226
SA - 7 - 56, TAS - 1 - 10 , VIC - 31 - 241, WA - 6 - 68

Great info much appreciated , can you try and break it down to type of colours sold and automatics versus manuals ???

This will keep Hymee happy / busy making more graphs

cheers

Interesting stats; it looks like Qld has the highest per capita sales. Always knew we were a folk of rare good taste and appreciation of the finer things.

unfortunately L&L I am unable to get the info that detailed, the VFACTS sheets that I get my hands on only detail manufacturers, models (not specific ie, it will only tell me how many mazda 3's were sold but it wont tell which spec level), it does distinguish between utes, wagons and sedans but not relevant to RX8
