Officially 1st of August 2003 was the sale date release for our cars . ( Got mine delivered 27th of july 2003)

Hymee we do.... NOT..... need dyno graphs for this one , sorry to dissapoint you as i know you love your dyno graphs . he he he

May be it is like the dyno graph from Hymee... with accuminate figure in the Y axis...

If it is true reflection then how do you explain the dip when the valve open, Hymee :D. People selling their cars?! :D

I think there will be at least a 1000 car sold around OZ this year... what do you think?

Why don't you give VFACTS a call on 03 9829 1234. They will absolutely have the data and it will save all this wild-assed guessing. Of course, you will have to use all of your very considerable negotiation and sweet-talking talents to get it out of them, but that's where the answer is.

Or you could call Doug Dickson, the new CEO of MA, who probably hasn't been briefed about you from Malcom Gough... yet! j/k :D

V-Facts figures are as follows
2003 - 949 rx8's registered
2004 year to date - 856 rx8's registered not including June.
139 rx8's registered last month (may)

Total registered = 1805.

So you weren't too far off L&L

Nice graft Hymee... I am in the first bar!!

Aug to Dec 900
Jan to May 800 ---> steady sell.

I think they still sell as much as they ship in... anyone know if you still have to wait 2 months for your colour?

Thanks Hymee,

Can I ask a really dumb question?

Does the Australian modeal RX-8 have the OBD port in the cabin like the US model?

If so, where is it?

Thanks

I'm not Hymee but I'll answer the question. Yes it has, and it is under the steering wheel.

Medic8,

Yes, and I have even got a ODBII interface, and have written some software to do some real time monitoring

Cheers,
Hymee.

Interesting info Hymee, I am a PalmOS fan (have some commercial software myself - not for the RX-8 though !).

Am considering OBDII apps - had browsed on the web the Dyno software from Auterra in particular.

Can't see details of your software on your website. Would love to see as much info on this as you have (a thread elsewhere, or pages on your website perhaps)!

Thanks again.

The software I have been working on is just me mucking around seeing what I can and can't do. Ultimately I wanted to do something like EFI Live, and even PCM reprogramming. It is happening very slowly (unfortunately). There are other commercially available kits that work with the RX-8. Most of the delay has been the RX-8 uses a newer wire protocol called CAN.

Cheers,
Hymee.
