That honestly does not mean anything other than give Hymee and the 'others' more credibility. It shows that turbo'ing the rx8 is no easy task - hence the delay. The Greddy bolt on is a perfect example..

Look...everyone...just calm down.

Ciao is perfectly able to post on the .com.au site and I am sure when he has more to tell us, he will post there, and it will be linked here.

The only people who can make claims about their kits are the developers and they ought to be encouraged to do so. In Ciao's case, he made some other transgression which upset the mods, to his detriment. But, as I said, he can still post elsewhere. Those who have done test drives can post time slips otherwise it's just impressions and opinions -- that's all. My preference would be for developers to post their dyno sheets....but I can already hear the 'but there's no such thing as a common dyno' cry...and I have some sympathy for that. Still, better than nothing.

What is not helpful if a whole load of allegations, crap and corruption! FFS, don't you understand that's the exact thing that would stop any self-respecting developer from posting anything meaningful on these sites??

When one, very well-respected developer said he would not post on these forums for exactly these reasons, I didn't believe him. Now I do, and I think it is our loss, not his.

No , I havent condemned Hymee at all ,
I was mentioning the delay Supercharegers as a whole have taken as Rotorenvy mentioned
I think Rotorenvy has many valid points .I have no business in the allegations regarding the banning of ciao ,nor do I care . As commented by Kunz sprootz rotarenvy Ezzy and Mirkop ,It would be nice to know the progress of the kit ,and it seems Mirkop has links with him via email and will probably post the findings etc .etc .

If the shitfight continues, I'll close the thread.

Cheers,
Hymee.

yeah. how about a comparison with your SC? We know it will be biased but if we take it with a grain of salt we might get some good info

has greddy made such a mess?
the overall construction of the kit is excellent. it's just that people that don't know anything mechanically expect to buy a kit and put it on and everything will be fine. the greedy kit is a low-lag, mild power-increase at a bargain price. people that what reliability and fool proof install should look at buying a faster car to begin with.

Good do that.

And I reject the suggestion that I have blown anything out of proportion. As demonstrated in my discussion with rotarenvy, I played the ball not the man and we exchanged views in a mature and non-aggressive fashion.

It is aggressive, argumentative posts like your previous one (and those of mirkop, sprootz, etc) that are causing this thread to go off topic and into personalities instead of facts. I make no apology for asking anybody here to cool it and get back to topic (it's done often enough to me after all).

Perhaps it would be simpler for everybody if you discussed Ciao's turbo system in the place where he is free to post (i.e. rx8club.com.au). In that way we don't get into "he's not here to defend himself" territory.

Since half the people here seem to want to fight instead of share information it might be better if you did.

There's a lot of force in that but it also depends what claims the manufacturer is making regarding reliability and ease of installation. This is key to what customers should be entitled to expect if they lay down their cash to buy it.

My dillema is that I'm not sure how people will interperate my post, if I make a post about the turbo. I have always tried very hard to be objective about things, and look at both sides of the story. But I will open another thread for it. It won't be a dave/ciao/sprootz/mirkop bashing thread or anything. If it gets that way... look out!

Here goes...

Cheers,
Hymee.

If anyone feels strongly enough as to why this thread should be opened again, please submit your request to me via PM. I don't think it is adding any value anymore.

Cheers,
Hymee.
