saw the ad today, its a 1999 series 8, the contact number is 0424 396 693

just got off the phone with our panel beater, he sold his red s6 over the weekend and is going to test drive a white series 8 tonight (about 28k's on it, one from with everything in writting)
he found out that one of his "connections" married his gf's cousin and is getting it at a very very good price....... that s8 landed here on 28th of December 2004, just got complianted :D

Thanks for the great detective work , my son said that i should definetely get a series 8 , id love to go to Japan and bring one for myself maybe a late 2001 / 2002 model .

My wifes worried i will come back with a geisha instead of the car .

Make sure you give this proper thought. A decent s8 is out of your budget and an s6/7 is going to leave you plenty of money left over to spend money on mods - and there's soooooo much you can do to an FD to get more performance out of them
