the spring rate on SS is only 5kg/mm front and 4 kg/mm rear.
the recomended drop is 20mm front and 15mm rear. but could go from -8 - -38 front and 20 - -40 rear.

super street is very close to mazdaspeed set up, the only thing different is super street have damper adjustment and ride height adjustment.
spring rate on mazdaspeed is 5kg/mm front and 3.4 kg/mm rear vs 5kg/mm front and 4 kg/mm rear on superstreet.

After living with my MazdaSpeed suspension for a while now, which I understand is similar to the SS in terms of spring rate, etc, I think they're fine.
Every now and then on the roads Eric mentions, you wish for something a little less stiff but those thoughts disappear when you get some good road to yourself. The car stays so flat, it's huge fun.
I definitely recommend the upgrade if you like a spirited drive now and again.
