I too would like to thank Hymee and Sco for a fantastic day and it was a pleasure meeting everyone. I had an absolute ball and can't wait for the next 'cruise day.'
The pics that everyone has posted so far are amazing.
I would like to say to any other RX8 owners in Brisbane and surrounding areas that the next time there is a cruise day try to make it, as I am still trying to wipe the smile off my face. I'm already having withdrawl symptoms.
See you all next time.

These were taken on my daugther Holly's Canon A75 by her (with the exception of the in-car shot).

Glad to hear everyone had fun. I had an absolute ball... especially the run down Mt Mee and up Mt Glorius.
Here's a couple more pics.
Happy New Year to you all.

P.S. A small tip: most people like to have their plates obscured in photos. If anyone needs hand doing this, PM me.

Best fuel economy yet!
Filled up the car this morning (nice n'cheap btw) and was pleasantly surprised to find that I had my best fuel economy yet (13.71l/100km) despite the spirited driving.
Must do it more often :D

Left the rear shot of HYM33's plates as he has already plastered them publicly over this forum.

Sorry I missed the cruise, but I was down the Gold Coast on Hols, from the photo's and other posts looks like you had a great turn out, next time I will be there to make three Red RX8's.

It was the best day jambo. Apart from the sluggish start due to traffic, but once we were off the highway the mood changed very quickly.
Just be sure to have yourself a UHF receiver as it adds another dimension to it.
Without it, it's kinda like watching the cricket with the volume down.
cheers,

I notice DSE has a bonus pack for the Uniden UH044XR, plus one of these earpiece/mikes for $158... which isn't a bad price (do a search for D1771B at www.dse.com.au). The UH044XR has a high power 2W mode, which will give you more distance than the standard radios.
