)When I was down the coast we had a couple of rainy days so we went into town and ended up in a toy shop buying a few timewasters for the mini-terrorists.
Found a model RX8 in Ti grey and simply had to have it.
Felt like a major nerd but at least I could pass it off as a purchase for the kids. 
Doors open and it has that pull back and release feature so it gets some good speed up across the kitchen floor. Predictably, my son loves it.
Might have to abduct it into the office before it gets too beat up (
).

I'm feeling a tad exhausted this arvo. 
Did the surfboard challenge on the harbour this morning (4 years in a row now).
Every year I promise myself I'll train seriously for next year and every year I do some panic sessions three weeks out and then absolutely suffer all the way round. No different this year. I'm buggered.
Still, got to cheer the Comm Games baton past the Opera House and it isn't every day you paddle under the coathanger.
