That makes sense, it's a red one so you wouldn't want to be seen in public in that, would you?

I nearly sent Revolver a text the other day to say I had just driven the best bit of road the best I ever have and work paid for my time to do it! Gotta love that...

Oh yes I blend in I'm in silver...

You should act on those impulses Julia. I love hearing from happy people doing fun things.

I'd love to drive my car more but the expense and hassle of driving into Sydney's CBD every day just isn't worth it. I may as well be driving a Corolla in that kinda traffic. I think that's why I really value the fun I do have in the car at weekends, evenings, etc.

Point taken....impulses will be acted upon.....

I know, when I am in Sydney it always amazes me how many cars and how slow your traffic is......driving in Adelaide you can have a fang and not hit anyone...just have to be careful of speed detection devices.....but they never have them on corners!!

... speak for yourself, I almost took out about 5 pedestrians on a 4 kilometre drive from Walkerville to the Adelaide CBD this morning. They were all out like lemmings today - crossing the road from behind buses, crossing the road looking the wrong way, random jaywalking.

At least one of them would be dead if I was driving something less nimble ...

LOL ... it's a bit like when I'm in Adelaide and I'm amazed at how dead the place is! :P When I was a kid it was a happening place, masses of people all over the place ... now it feels like a ghost town with a few stragglers.

You mentioned speed detection devices ... I saw the "road safety cameras" aka revenue raising devices on punt rd on the prahan side have been spray painted over the lenses hahahaha ... that's what we should be doing! We should declare war against the state government for their need to tax us even more! If we get rid of those cameras, we'd be able to live more relaxed and fruitful lives hahaha

Gotta go city today and tomorrow, but taking mums car - finally mums home - my GRandpa died last week and its been pretty ****. A lot of "endings" of chapters.
I've only ever been in one carpark which wasn't at all friendly, and that was because the concrete was so slippery, tapping on the throttle caused me to spin out! It was extremely frustrating getting in, even more going out!!!

It's the carkpark behind the EMC building on the corner of King St and Collins from memory.

Speaking of carparks, how funny was that Top Gear segment when the boys were trying to squeeze a Zonda, Clarkson's GT40 and some other bit of exotica out of the narrowest carpark exit in the world, only to be nearly foiled by the driveway angle. They had to build little ramps from packing cases from memory.

I still wince at the sound of the Zonda's carbon air dam hitting that unforgiving concrete surface.

LOL, Hammond was so stuck! Well, it just proves the point, if you live in the city and want a supercar, buy a Porsche

When I had my red rx8, I used to believe that.

Now I have the Stormy Blue, I am of the firm opinion that Stormy Blue is the quickest colour.

Agreed. The Porsche can do it all (esp. the Turbo) and doesn't get you stuck somewhere silly. Let's face it, there's something hugely funny about something so exxy getting stuck like that. The plebs WILL laugh at you.

Mind you, I think the little kid in all of us would love to cruise around in a Pagani Zonda. It's just so OTT, the kind of thing you'd doodle in your school book.

Your blue one gets broken into more than your red one?

Mate, mine's so quick you can't usually see it.

Go stealth.

(Mind you, I like the SB. Hard keeping it clean though?)

No harder than the red, or the black car I had before that.

The admiring looks I get when it is clean make up for the utter contempt and disdain I suffer when it is dirty.

I've driven a GT3 and a GT2 (not in any serious manner, just through Eagle on the Hill near Adelaide) ... I'd take the N/A GT3 over the turbo.

(although not the GT3 RS, that thing is a little OTT with the roll cage in the back seat)

I think I drew things like that when I was a kid ... cars with aircraft cockpits, big running boards huge wheels and with big fins and lots of smoke coming out the back lol
