Horses for courses I suggest (literally really - why put up with the comfort limitations of the GT3 unless you're tracking it regularly?)

Personally, I doubt I'd get anywhere near to appreciating the difference in performance terms on the road.

same i'd prefer the N/A GT3. the one i test drove had the roll cage and that thing was amazing.... the raw power (both engine and stopping) and sound were to die for wouldnt mind a GT3RS is i can find it within my price range

I'd much rather a car with a nice interior to something with a scaffold inside.

True, but I'd probably never ever do that even if I could afford to.

A lot of things are, but you're talking about a substantial amount of cash, a Porsche GT3 is not like buying a Mazda RX8 ...

... I'd much rather spend that kind of money on a nice house or stuffing for said house if I had it.

yes, buying a property you are going to live in or an investment proeprty is always a smarter move than buying a car..... i like to spoil myself with a "new" car once a little while.... the said GT3 was a goer until my head over-ruled my heart on something else.
maybe in the near future

I've got one credit card that has never had interest paid on it. Touch wood, that continues.

As for brake pads, I've got some replacement red stuff ceramics coming over from the US as we speak, courtesy of another forum member who has a mate over there. Still waiting on a final figure but it looks like I'll be getting fronts and rears for roughly what I paid for fronts alone a year or so ago.

Good timing for me. The fronts will need replacing within the next few months I think.

Def agree receiving is better than giving where interest is concerned.

And yes, you're right about seizing the opportunity when these little deals come along. Mind you, I think joining this forum has cost me more than I've saved.
