on the other hand, the AM Vantage is a very sexy car and is def. an unique car here in Oz. (not a big fan of those exotic boats.....)

The MPS will kill the 147...but maybe the 147 GTA will give it a run...

I drove them all....Alfa's that is and found them sluggish uninspring and not in the same league as the motors we have at home. We have 4 Alfa's...1 track car....1 rally car....slightly bent chasis...from creek crossing in 3rd... :-( One picnic collectable and 1 daily driver for the WD. The new one's are not a pinch on these ones.....ours have spirit and rust activation issues....they are cars with a heart....won't find that in a MPS3....

I agree thought that Atom is awesome and I want one...spoke with WD about this and his response was why import when I can build you one!! YIPPEE...now all I have to do is patiently wait, and wait and wait!!! LOL

 

I should have replied to this thread earlier today when I was a little more sober, however; Revolver you sound exactly like you're in the same situation as myself - hence why I started my *whinge* thread. I love this car - I love the way it looks, I love the engine, I love the handling, I love the fact it's not a 4-door yawnbarge like the WRX is, I love the fact I'm not a member of the 4 door sports-car clitoris club (every cu** has one), I love the leather interior... BUT IT NEEDS MORE POWER. Whichever way you look at it, this was supposed to be a "sports" car, and it's pretty insulting to be overtaken by lesser models of the same marque.

I'm due for trade-in in the second half of this year, and if there is no power boost on the horizon I'll be trading it in on something else. What, exactly, I'm not sure...
