Yep, back when I was young, mates of mine were getting 11MPG from their RX3s that's about 25L\100km!

I get 17l/100km from the rx-7 but I only ever drive that for fun. Hell, my magna gets nearly 15l/100km!

Richard,

The higher "specific" consumption is one of the things we have to weigh up against the lighness, lower CofG, 50/50 weight distrib, small engine, etc.

Yes - I was surprised it was not too much different from a 5.7L LS1. But I am still about $10 per week better off.
