Fuel economy after 1,000km service

Hi,

I just had the 1,000km service done. My fuel economy before the service was around 12.5-14L/100km. After the service it is doing around 16-17.5L/100km with no real difference in my driving style. On my 15km freeway run to work in the morning (constant 105km in 6th gear) the needle dropped 2mm at the tip. Does that sound right?

If you havent changed your driving style (I booted mine once it passed the service), it doesnt sound right, especially with the relatively minor service that the 1000km is. I would give it a week and call your service dealer if it doesn't settle down. Sometimes servicing can upset things and it takes a little time to settle down. However, 17.5 does seem extreme.
