Oh FFS. I thought I was doing the right things sending yours with Taka's. He is close by you isn't he?? He has it already. He rang me on my way to work, and he already had them.

I could have sent them both seperatley. Sending them together didn't really saved much. I found out later I could get a 500g sachel for a little bit more than 1/2 the cost of the 3kg sachel. They just sneak under the 500g, bubble wrapped and all. Well done RP!!

Cheers,
Hymee.

I'm really getting fond of you Aussies. Nowhere else can a group of guys have this much fun with no woman or beer. If this were a US group there would be bickering and back bitting. No one would deliver any shifters to the other guy. Not without grinding on it or something so it wasn't as good as his. Does that give Taka any ideas?

I'm very greatfull to Gomez for all he has done with the DIY. But, I'm cutting him down to a check every other month instead of every month. What can I do, the price of Bloody Marys has gone up.

andtothinkyourallbastards. Who would have known?

Why is it called OZ? Is there a yellow brick road? Is toetoe there?

Yeah, I asked him a long while back about a name for the thing.....whether he'd engrave something on the side. I started the thread calling it the RP Short Shifter....some now call it the AFE Short Shifter, bloody confusing!!

How about the AFE Quicksilver Shifter, or something like that?

Gomez.

It was Gomez falt. Before I even started the project he started the thread called RP short shifter. So everyone calls it that thinking he was in on a secret naming meeting. Since then I havn't even given it much thought. People didn't care as long as I got it into production.
Now that it has calmed down a bit I should try and do something about it. How about: Doublethrowdownblackbeltbastarsshifter
Too long??
Quickshiftingbastard
Nah that seems to talk about the user not the shifter.
Rprx8ssss, for Richard Paul Rx8 stainless steel short shifter.
Or Rx8-4s

Well come on you guys are the funny ones. Give me something clever. Make up for 'mez lack of forsight.

"The ******" by RP

Caution: With the installation of "the ******" by RP never has your hand on the **** been more enjoyable. You may just want to play with it all day!

A very Australian name me thinks, and we know you all want to be Aussies. A land where only 5 in 10 homes have running water but 9 in 10 have running beer :D

****** is good, double ******? Yanker?
Is that true about running water? Well if I'm going to stay there I need running Bloody Mary's.

Hymee better let me know about restock cosidering the damn shipping time.
Plus there are only 17 left of this batch and then I have to start over.
I'll hold some back for you Hymee, no sweat.

Got to go the the DMV now to get my drivers license renewed. Damn do I dread that. I'll be in line for hours. Hope I can still read the chart. Guess they have some new laws now so I have to read the book. A plot to cut down on the productivity of the state of California. Can't I tell them I'm an ex racecar driver. Think they wouldn't like that eh. How about I give them a drivers test. How about I just give them a ride???

Installed the RP short shifter this morning took about 40 minutes and have been driving around all afternoon testing it

The movement is short and precise with a take no prisoners type of attitude reminds me of the mechanical smooth bolt action of the 303 rifles no problem in any of the gears love the second to third , quick as a flash and tight , just like i like my women :D and shifters .( thanks richard looking forward to your other products ) Gomez dont forget your $1.00 US dollar fee :p your instruction were spot on thanks mate

I feel priviliged to have found a group of( knowligable enterprisingmoneymakingrotarybastards who enjoy making our rides better

SORRY TO SAY THIS RICHARD BUT THE HYMTERS AUSSIE EXHAUST IS STILL MY NUMBER 1 MOD BUT YOU COME IN A CLOSE SECOND 9.75 OUT OF 10

Cheers
michael

Having given this some serious consideration, and given your growing predilection to the Aussie vernacular... I'd suggest you call it the RiPa -- pronounced 'ripper', as in youlittleripper! Or the the more extended 'bloodybewdy..youlittleripper' (air punch and kiss ya mate [careful, no tongue]) as team scores winning goal in final moment at football!

Gives you a shake at posterity, too, RP

I edited the post to give it some more context...do you think it's still too esoteric... that's what we Ozzies are at our best ... esoteric... akin tothe genuine English eccentric...
