Hahaha

You won't go very fast 91 RON fuel. You can shot ahead if you like.

There are tons of 98RON fuel all the way up to Goulburn. I am going to mark all stations there. Andrew your route maker website rocks!

We'll see Taka.... we'll see....

I think it would be cool to get decals made up for our windscreens with our forum names on them. It's gonna be hard enough to remember everyone's real names, let alone 50 licence plates too!

That is a bloody good idea.

Do you mean a big one that you can see from the trackside or something like this?

If we are going to do a group order of those then someone else better organise it. I think I upset Polak last time I ordered from him :-( my fault totally but I upset him none the less.

I have a better idea than decals...... NUMBERPLATES!

Having a decal is a great idea. And we don't need US when we just need letters. Even someone in Paddy Market in Sydney does them.

But some people may not like to stick something on the window and need to take it off afterwards, especially large ones on the windscreen.

However, I found this slightly more expensive option. Especially handy on the track.

http://www.numberplate.australia.ms/

Custom made your name (up to 10 letters)... I just look at the list. It works for everyone except Lock & Load (since they don't have "&") :D

What do you think? $25-35 and someone can pick it up in Queensland. And I think group guying it will be cheaper.

.........

Great idea Taka. I already have mine

As for 98RON Ultimate, I recall there was a big BP on the highway just out of Goulburn.

This is shaping up to be cool.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Does anyone know of some place that have better design that the link I have???

Hymee, where did you get yours from?

.... I have checked out their plates in stock. Nice work I think.

I think it will do me fine, but it will only be fun if every one does it.

Do we need front and back or you think just front/back plate?
Keen to order together and I think we can push it under $20 each plate.
Lock can carry them down since the factory is at Gold Coast.

Like that idea?

Taka the number plate thing sounds really good. What about a decal which includes the event, like "2005 RX8 Nationals-Wakefield"

It is the best idea of all time! Everyone agrees?

So far this is so much fun, love the idea that rx88er suggested

I think you meant something like this.

You see the standard size plate on their website. Their letters are not that big. We can put sticker on the top row. Say something like this

2005 RX-8 Nationals
TAKA

We could include "Wakefield" to it but i think it depends on the size of decal. The number plate factory on the link above make decals too!!! They can certainly do the whole lot. But it means the plate will be sightly more expensive. But it worth to have one for momento -

Then if we make that so special then 1 plate for each enterance and option to have 2 plates.

LOVE THAT IDEA

P.S. EDIT: I have emailed the Number plate factory. Await of their response Monday

PoLak is too far away... don't need him.

Actually there is a lot of people make decals in Australia. The number plate factory can make some...

We have to keep the bucks in Australia. Then again number plate idea is far better than decal which is too expensive to make it big.

Nice find Taka.

My plates are offical rego plates from PPQ. (www.ppq.com.au)

Hymee - thinking out loud... I get my decals made locally. Computer cut vinyl. I wonder how much it would cost me to sponsor the member name decals??? Hmmm.....

Cheers,
Hymee.

Hymee check out if you can start supplying decals locally.

Taka, I am waiting for the comment that you would only need one plate...the rear one as that is all anyone will see of you ;-) but then again you could go for the "I need front and back. Back for when I fly past and front for when I lap people." :D

You didn't not enough to ruin my day or anything at least.
Taka im hurt :-p, probably a good idea to go with someone local, too many starving artists around I can't justify competing with them, but don't steals my designs or i can justify flying down and kickin some ***

Well if we are doing RX-8 club decals... yes PoLak you will have our money

But if it is just the BIG *** name on the windscreen then the mailing cost out done your profit my friend.

Anyway, I like number plate >>>> decal anyway

No mention of Mazda at all on the site - must have had a bad experience as a RX-2 owner?? Could always ask the question.. Maybe Mazda would not licence the brand??

Names on stickers are good, but I really do like the way that Polak matches the sticker to the car colour - Finance Director does too,... Normally we never have stickers on our car..

Polak - how much to do a subtle xxup so that it sits above or to the side of the current sticker??

Not sure about the number plate.. Looked a bit tizzy to me.. I like the sticker better..

Well xxup

A smaller sticker cannot be seen from far away and a big sticker is ugly.

I know the number plate idea is fun... yeah tizzy . That is the point hehe

Well then no mention of Mar...s.. da. I thought all the way along that it will be a "Hymee enhanced 2005 RX-8 Club Australia National meet" So the plate may have the Hymee Enhanced logo rather than Mar... s...da if the boss there is prepare to chip in a bit . Just heard his voice in his head a moment ago :p

I am going with the flow. I am easy, really. It is all about fun and if not everyone is happy then it is NOT FUN OK :p

I DO like my RX-8 club logo with name. I am MORE THAN HAPPY to see all people in the Nationals to have that. Besides, it is much cheaper than a number plate.

Australia is a democrating world.... LET'S HAVE BOTH and Hymee is paying for them j/k..

BTW I thought it looks good

Okay the Hymee Enhanced is a good compromise.. But the plates you were looking at only supported 6 characters.. What will Lock & Load use? or 18Jambo74

I love it Taka. I'll take one for the front and back. Slimline of course. We can then also use them for all our other track days down here. Let the guys in the Porshe's and FTP Fords and HSV's know who's passing them :D

Mine will be the blue ones. Let me know when you want to do it and we can order together.
