The villas could only be booked out if 60 people have booked into them.
Most rooms are twin share (i.e. two single beds) so those who have specified a room just for one person might like to reconsider sharing their room so more people can stay there.
Timbo, as head honcho and the booker of the villas, would you kindly find out if Wakefield is booking rooms or beds? I'd be surprised if 60 people have booked already.

Mez, are u sure you're not getting confused with the local escort agency???
On the accomodation.. I just rang them... I think they are assuming people aren't sharing... so if you're happy sharing then I think you need to inform them so we can free up some beds.
Just spoke to 'Kylie' at WPR - she called me Honey too so it's not an exclusive relationship 'Mez.
I'm booked in but I didn't want to throw my weight around telling her to ask if people are willing to share because I understand some have, ahem, singular personal habits that make such a thing, um, undesirable.
All I can say is, please leave the latex whip and the chicken at home for the weekend and share your room if you can. Will enable more entrants to stay there.
For those curious, MACCAA and I did a walk through of one of the villas yesterday. They are demountable things that previously served as athlete accommodation during the 2000 Olympics so there is the added bonus that you might just stay in one of the rooms that witnessed fun and games between some Bulgarian weightlifter and a gymnast from Andorra.
Seriously, there is a covered balcony out the front of each one with a relatively commanding view of the track. Once inside there is a large common room with a fridge, microwave, toaster, sink, etc down one end with a telly mounted on a bracket high up. Down a corridor you come to a perpendicular corridor with 6 twin bedrooms opening off it. There are three showers and toilets so queueing shouldn't be a problem.
All in all, they're not 5 star but looked clean and comfortable for our purposes (i.e. somewhere to sleep).

Guys...we are going to have to share in order to accommodate everyone. Each villa has two end rooms with a double and single, which needs to be allocated with those bringing their beloved and children (or whatever). Better let me know if sharing in not on for you, otherwise I'll start pushing people together.
I don't snore much....and Hymee...hey, Hymee.....you bringing the 'other' supercharger???

Taka, i think everybody will be too scared to be your room mate in case you decide to get a little work practice in the middle of the night :D
Hope not - I met her yesterday and if she's moonlighting as a high class hooker near Canberra the pollies have got more problems than just Iraq and the price of fuel to contend with. :D
