OK, I have just sent reminders out to people on the list who have not yet responded, to get onto it, so we can sort out those on the waiting list.
Need completed entries in by 19 September, which is not far away.
You snooze, you lose!
(and don't say we didn't tell you

C'mon guys. Make Timbo's job a bit easier by responding promptly.
He's doing a lot more behind the scenes to make this happen than you'll ever know and I'm sure he could do without chasing people up.

Just reposting the below information as it quickly got lost in the other thread meanderings and I've had a few recent queries about the cruise down to Wakefield.
Regarding a cruise in company down to Wakefield on the Friday afternoon of the Nats weekend, I did some looking on my way down for the RENEW track day and can report as follows:
The roadhouse I mentioned earlier in the thread is the Mobil at Pheasants Nest (as Timbo commented). It is 53.8kms south of the M5 Toll Plaza.
Another option a little closer to Sydney is a largish Rest Area, which is 36.4kms south of the M5 Toll Plaza. Marked by only a smallish sign so keep a sharp eye out for it.
As far as I could see there is nowhere closer to Sydney that is safe to turn off the highway and wait at but I'm open to suggestions.
I'm keen to pick somewhere south of the main congested areas because the M5 can get very busy on a Friday arvo and trying to maintain any kind of convoy will be just too hard.
Unless someone's got a better suggestion, my vote is for the Rest Area - there's plenty of parking room and we won't be bothering anyone if some of us are there for half an hour or more waiting for others to turn up.
As for timing, I'd suggest 3.30 for a 4.00pm sharp departure. That should get us to Wakefield by 6.00pm easy.

They sound like good suggestions, and I don't mind where we meet up
. But I will throw in another idea which worked very well on the w'end "Homebush P6". Just a thought, but it catered for us nicely on the w'end
and we had room for a lot more cars too :D :D . And some of the guys said it would also be a good meet up point for the Nat's also

As posted in the dot au forum, the advantage of the Rest Area is that it is on the route to Goulburn and has plenty of space for parking. I also don't fancy driving across Sydney on a Friday arvo to get to Homebush.
Suggest that if people find Homebush convenient that can be used as a preliminary meet-up point before travelling to the Rest Area where the rest of us will be. I'd say you'd need to allow 30-45 mins to travel from Homebush to the Rest Area.
