Delays in delivery

hi guys,

time really flies.....its been 2 and a half months since my last post when I ordered a Black 8 back in June over here in Perth. As it turns out, apparently there was some mistake and my car was never put on the boat for an August delivery :/.

The dealership offered me extras of my choice and said that Mazda Australia is providing them support since it was partly their mistake or something :/. Anyway I have waited so damn long, I thought I'd just stick it out as they "promised" delivery circa 15th Sept this month. Not sure if their promises are actually worth anything since it was originally written in the sales contract that i wanted delivery by August.

I don't really like any of the mazda kit bits so i asked for an extended warranty and some tint. They agreed and also threw in a first service free.

I've been chasing them for a chassis number or something of the sort to ensure that my car actually exists and is on the way. Apparently they said it is on the boat but they have no such info. Is this true? Am i getting Bs'ed to again?

Any suggestions guy?

Thx in advance for any advice .

I can get the VIN number and the exact date of built, in the boat time on the spot. They should have a list in front of them.

I don't know how they work but I start thinking they are not working as a large pool. I think most dealer has an allocation even before the car landed in Australia.... not sure at all.

Hey is n't the first service always free???

Yes...dealers always have a forward list of the VINs that are coming to them for at least the next three months. My dealer showed me this list when I was a pre-order.

Tint costs about $200 to the dealer; the extended warranty bugger all and beware...it may lock you in to that dealer. Make sure you get mats...front and rear crests...and have another look at the accessories list. Put the word on them...they're being slack

Crests & Strakes, fuel door if you like them, genuine bits are expensive as $%#@!(aftermarkets versions are cheaper).

You can always take them off and put them on ebay! Might get you a few tanks of gas....or a few litres these days!!
