LOL... drove down from the central coast to Canberra today...

I saw 3 X 350Zs, all silver, touring spec... and what did I see behind the wheel of each? 3 very jealous drivers :D I'd probably hate seeing the RX-8 on the road, knowing that I could have had one instead of the treefiddy for the same money or less... :D

It's interesting to note that there's a flood of folk "giving" away 350Z's in news paper competitions, and the like, but I haven't see a single RX8 being tossed into some lame give away prize slot..

Guess we could read a whole world of weirdness into that but for my money, it means that the 350Z flooded the local market with marketing and cost price give away deals where as Mazda perhaps said "****! you want one, buy one! we don't give away no stink'in freebee's man!"

ps: I dropped a full two page color spread on the desk of someone who purchased a 350Z just before I got my RX8 for a "fill this in and subscribe to our Buy Land in South Coast cest pool mudlands and we'll put you in the draw with 300,000 others to win this little wee car.." - he wasn't impressed - thank god I didn't leave my name on the post it note saying "hey man.. can you beleive they are now giving these things away.. must be having a hard time selling them * grin *
