no one said anything about the drive shaft, its carbon fiber. I have the AT and it does nto have the CF one. But I found one online that weighs less than the MT.

I weighed the front stock bumper (with the foglights, the mazda front air dam and the headlamp washers that the euro-spec cars have) It came out 8.4kg... for the record

I replaced my trunk with a carbon fiber one. Not sure if it has been posted but here are the numbers:

Stock trunk w/ factory wing = 18 lbs

Carbon Fiber Trunk = 7 lbs!!

I think its about 280 pounds... I tried to look this up before with moderate success.

I assume you mean just the core components, not including headers or anything strange.

Maybe someone with more experience can chime in with an exact answer.

how much does the factory spoiler weigh?

or, how much does the spoiler-less trunk weigh?

according to deedubb, trunk + spoiler = 18lbs

Per Jim Merder at Racing Beat, the fulled dressed Renesis engine with all attachments sans airbox weights 267.5lb.

The block itself would probably weight around 180-190ish.

On a medically calibrated scale, my stock flywheel is 7.82kg. It is slightly heavier than Racing Beat but I think same as quoted in Mazda or something?

This one had the water pump but no flywheel. It was an auto so it did have it's rear counterweight on I believe.

I just removed my washer tank and weighed it, its around 4 lbs on a fishing scale. not the ~14lbs in the thread.

Air pump (without bracket) = 3.3 lbs

back seats = 10 lbs x2 = 20 lbs
