Installed Greddy Turbo....won't start
Just had a greddy turbo installed. Did fix 2 and I'm using the AP for management. The shop has a lot of rotary experience and has turbo'd several 8s. Changed the plugs wires and coils.
The engine won't kick over. The starter sounds like its struggling/surging and I guess it could be the starter, but it was fine before the install. Fuses are all good. Swapped the battery. We're getting good spark and gas is flowing. No codes on the AP (except the mysterious P0039).
Any ideas? Grounding issue?
....we also tried getting it started with the FI map and the stock map, same result.

it does sound like the starter is slow, but a few days ago it was fine. just don't want to spend $350 on a new starter when it could be something else.
I thought maybe it could be a short somewhere, but the fuses are fine and the only things disconnected were the air pump and the maf sensor.

It will start even with a huge leak...so that isn't your problem...did you check the OMP connector and the throttle, ECT and the main sensors?
Check the battery voltage...I've seen people swap a bad battery for a marginal one and wonder why it didn't change anything
It is easy to flood them trying to start them if everything isn;t perfect...so check the plugs. You are sure you have good fuel pressure and injectors are stock?
Just start with what you know is good...and start checking everything else till you figure it out
