Installed Greddy Turbo....won't start

Just had a greddy turbo installed. Did fix 2 and I'm using the AP for management. The shop has a lot of rotary experience and has turbo'd several 8s. Changed the plugs wires and coils.

The engine won't kick over. The starter sounds like its struggling/surging and I guess it could be the starter, but it was fine before the install. Fuses are all good. Swapped the battery. We're getting good spark and gas is flowing. No codes on the AP (except the mysterious P0039).

Any ideas? Grounding issue?

....we also tried getting it started with the FI map and the stock map, same result.

Try the twenty stomp reset, the ignition could be wack if the sensor got moved.

was there anything else you installed other than the standard greddy supplied parts? just trying to figure out what areas you might have been in that may be a possible loose connection..just want to get it clear as well is it no crank no start or crank no start?

crank, no start. greddy kit with mazsport cai and ic, hks sqv and new clamps couplers.

it does sound like the starter is slow, but a few days ago it was fine. just don't want to spend $350 on a new starter when it could be something else.

I thought maybe it could be a short somewhere, but the fuses are fine and the only things disconnected were the air pump and the maf sensor.

Just push start the biatch - that will eliminate anything non starter related as a problem ...
If it goes you know it is your battery or starter

hopefully no major leaks, but I think it might be the only way.

It will start even with a huge leak...so that isn't your problem...did you check the OMP connector and the throttle, ECT and the main sensors?

Check the battery voltage...I've seen people swap a bad battery for a marginal one and wonder why it didn't change anything

It is easy to flood them trying to start them if everything isn;t perfect...so check the plugs. You are sure you have good fuel pressure and injectors are stock?

Just start with what you know is good...and start checking everything else till you figure it out

Nope, it was at the shop for the install and this was the first attempt at starting the car with the turbo.
