Want to keep the stock HU but....
i want to hook up my amp to it... and i already have the bose system which means there is already an amp in the car... has anyone hooked up an additional amp to the HU... and if so where do you plug the adapter into on the back of the HU?

There is much debate on this subject Check the audio install reference for more info. as a general rule, it seems to be ok to tap the post bose amp, speaker level outputs with a LOC if you're just adding a sub, but for full system replacements it's better to go with the pre-bose signals (The HU outputs differental speaker level outputs so you'll need a LOC no matter where you tap the signal)
