Help neede: Pin out of a Bose Rx-8 amp?

Hi,

I have a Bose amplifier, received from a RX-8 crash car, and unfortunately all wires are cut direct behind the plugs. Everything I've found on the web and in this forum didn't match the pin out of the amp I have. Maybe someone here can help me out:

Is it really form a RX-8?
Is anyone familiar with the pin out?
How can I test it which cable is for what (I'm no electronic specialist)

Sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language.

Thanks!

It definitely doesn't match the 2004 information that I used for my car. The plugs are the same, the amp looks the same, but the wire colors are definitely not. It looks like it is from a car w/ out audio pilot. If you want to try to test it I would try this.....It should get you connected.

My Plug is marked different, but I will use your markings for simplicity. I have completely rewired my amp w/ RCA plugs etc. so unless I have a misprint on the drawing I made for it, I know it is correct.

After setting up all wires with no results, it looks like that the amp is defect
Thanks again for the setup!

Didn't want to start another thread, but long story short I've narrowed my problems down to the Bose amp either being fried or something that I don't want to deal with.

Going by this pin-out, I could bypass the amp all together by just shunting the speakers ins and outs, right? I realize there won't be a center speaker out, which is fine for me, I just wanted to know if there were any other unforeseeable consequences. Thanks

That won't work. Not enough power output from the stock Bose headunit to push the speakers without the amp. Additionally, the front woofers are 1/2 ohm. I don't think the headunit can handle a load like that, regardless of power output.
