Bad alignment or wheel bearing?

So last Friday I installed Megan racing Coilovers on my 2005 rx8 and yesterday (6 days later) I took my car in to get new tires and an alignment done. My friends and I put them on ourselves but he knows what he's doing. We had air tools and he's installed Coilovers on multiple cars before and there weren't any problems after about 140 miles. About half a mile after picking my car up yesterday the front passengers wheel started making a winding noise above 30 mph and gets faster and slower with speed. It is loud sometimes and quiet other times. Is there any way to tell if its a bad bearing or alignment without taking it back in? Or could we have messed up installing them and it just started affecting the car now?

Grab the suspect wheel in the 1 and 6 o'clock positions and try to move the wheel towards you and away, while your car is lifted. If you have any wheel play its more than likely the wheel bearing, it should be firm assuming your lug nuts are tightened correctly if it's fine.

It sounds like a wheel bearing issue...
