Yep.

It is only your dealers who are failing Mazda in the US, not so much the product, I can not speak for the Ford US made Mazda 6 unfortunately that would also let the brand down.

The reason why Mazda's VP (R.Graziano) was here 2 weeks ago.

When you consider Mazda Australia has had a trebling in sales in 7 years with no more dealers one can appreciate the job they do to keep the customer happy.

with a population about 15 times less then that of the US, and likely less sales per dealership compared to many in the US, perhaps it's a bit easier to satisfy the customer. Far less people online complaining, far less people to **** off, so there's no accuracy in that really, as the countries are simply uncomparable.

Either way it's no concern to me, I have a Speed 6, built and imported from Japan, and my dealership is OUTSTANDING in their customer service.

Totally Disagree, your methodology is totally inaccurate.

Mazda US has about 12 times more Mazda Dealerships compared to Australia.
Mazda US market share around 1% in Australia Mazda is 7% (#4).
Australia has a larger variety of models and brands to choose from than the US.

At the moment (Last 4 Years) our car industry is enjoying record sales at around
1 new car sold for every 20 persons each year.

Mazda US is the worst performer in Mazda's global sales market, although has been improving strongly in the last year or so.

So if anything there are far more Mazda Owners in Australia to "**** off' than the US.

Again, you are in-accurate, but don't get upset about it. It's a healthy fun debate. Here are the 2006 sales figures for US vs Australia. How can there be more Mazda owners in Australia to **** off when we sell 4 times as many cars? Yes, we have 12 times the dealerships, but this country is so big compared to AUstralia, there are small scattered dealerships in unpopulated parts of this country that don't sell many cars period, because many parts of this country only buy AMERICAN.

Where I live ( in between philadelphia and NYC, there are more people within a 200km radius of me then in your entire country.

Australia sold 67,225 Mazda units in 2006. the US sold 280, 589 units in 2006. Now that is over 4 times the amount of sales, but I agree in dense population comparison you actually sell three times as many cars per dealership on average, but again, we have many small secluded dealerships. The one I go to is GIGANTIC, like many in this area.

I do agree with some of what you are saying, because Mazda in a dense population naturally doesn't succeed nearly as well in the US as Australia, when you combine population with cars sold. That's very impressive to sell that many cars with such a small population, so densely Australia has far more success, but in overall sales and customers, it's not even close.

Much of this is because in the US there are far more car options here with far more competiton, so Mazda does pretty well, considering toyota and Honda sell in the millions each year in total sales, as do our american car companies. Mazda too, however is growing rapidly here, and it's doing very well. Like I said before, they simply are not comparable because of the massive difference in population.
