Ray (Charles R. Hill) was at my house recently and we decided that it was time to install my new AEM Meth injection system. It has been setting on my shelf for at least 6 months just waiting for the right time. The first pix that I will post shows the lack of room under my hood. The following pix are of the install locations and the clean look Ray achieved.

Oh come on Phil, you could squeeze a few more things under the hood. :scratchhe

I will let Ray talk about the parts and install because some of them are Black Halo Racing parts. Oh those that are interested, it is boost driven

Looks good!

AEM meth kit is really one of the best out there

The "cold air" intake Phil is using I fabbed/installed a few weeks ago and the oil relo and alky installs were done last weekend. All I need to do now is wire the alky controller in and Phil might give me a break for a couple months. :lol2:

I thought Ray would want to talk about his parts on the meth injecton but he wants to talk about the cold air intake

Personally I would have mounted the pump under the floor of the trunk..and used a proper fuel cell tank, vented outside the trunk..it isn't that expensive and a lot safer.

Methanol burns almost clear..and alcohol vaporizes at quite a low temp.....

Water is nowhere near as risky.

A little thing in the overall scheme but I like your oil filter relocation as well.

The GReddy hoses for the oil filter relo kit were a little too short so we had to get 4' of -10 AN hose to make it work. That spot was Phil's idea, btw, and a pretty decent one.

Water would be great......No problems with that catching on fire ;)

And <50% solutions of H2O/CH3OH aren't particularly volatile.
Think of all those hatchbacks with OEM rear-mounted, interior wiper/washer setups.
The pump is so quiet that having it inside the car is completely unnoticeable and keeps the pump out of the weather.

True...most WW fluid is 30% or so...even here where it gets damn cold :)

I've seen an alcohol fire.....not nice

We use burning methanol to kill scorpions around here. Very nice.

According to Indiana Jones it is only the little ones you need to worry about .

Wow! Great pictures Phil! The engine bay looks very well put together and everything fits very nicely. Another bad ass BHR install if I do say so!

Very nice install, I have the AEM meth kit, and BHR throttle body spacer with a check valve too... definitely a great kit and a nice spacer too. :D
