Hi, I was thinking about getting the Racing beat ram air duct to go with my stock air box.....I have a K&N air filter in the box.Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and if it does make a difference in the HP..and what about removing the side walls in the stock box i have read about people doing this..

 

you wont be able to feel the difference, maybe after a hard run, you wont get heat soak...but ive had one connected up to my stock with the k&n too, and after a long drive, my airbox was cool.

 

It works rather well.

 

get my RB intake in my FS thread... I might sell my RB duct as well and youll have a great setup

My NA was the quickest one around and part of this was to do with the intake

RB duct
cut up stock vfad to get a connection to the stock box
K&N filter
remove both screens

That's it - best intake you can get for stuff all $

 

I have the same setup. I love it and it sounds amazing. It is the cheapest intake setup you can get basically. also Install is really easy
