The_Beast 07-01-2009, 06:41 AM You mean the resonator behind the cat? I'm not sure what you're talking about... avanti_racing08 07-01-2009, 03:16 PM i beleave he is, it will get louder and add a lil hp but imo i would do a hig flow cat w/o the resonater. I went with super cat high flow and love it TeamRX8 07-01-2009, 06:20 PM Did somebody delete the Search function? 04RX8man 07-01-2009, 09:55 PM ^mine works i used it today....and foudn my answer so i didn't have to ask an already asked millinos of times ? Colorcode 07-02-2009, 07:25 PM what i mean is to keep the stock exhaust and only replace the resonator behind the cat with a straight pipe. anyway i ended up trying it (only cost 40 bucks anyway) and there is only a slight difference in sound. 04RX8man 07-02-2009, 08:49 PM ^you have to get rid of the cat to really open the exhaust up...resonators are there to avoid rasp...the cat is basically a restriction in the exhaust...get rid of that and you'll get noise and HP and FLAMES!!!!! Colorcode 07-03-2009, 02:37 PM i kno! but i want to keep the cat to pass emission =( ..actually ill probably end up doing it anyway :yelrotflm avanti_racing08 07-03-2009, 05:11 PM just pick up a high flow cat and you will be fine I love the flames 04RX8man 07-04-2009, 09:57 PM ^or could get a catless midpipe, keep the cat and just bolt it up for emissions...that's what i'm planningon doing with my midpipe.... |
