I have a 04 at and I was wondering if ne1 else has this happen when I step on the gas from 0 to 20mph has no power whatsoever no matter if I floor it or not then when I get to bout 20mph it takes off is this normal?

what gear are you in - the 8 has very little torque below about 2500 rpm ....

Well I have a auto so 1st gear. But I mean I stomp on it and from 0 to 10 i could ride a bike faster theres gotta be sumthin wrong? But when it hits bout 20 it gets up and goes pretty good.

hard to know if it is a problem or not - was it any different before or has it just started happening ?

if you did a video of your rpm guage then ask other AT owners if it compares with what they see perhaps ....

sounds like a normal AT I think my MT in 1st at 0-10 if I hammer on it I don't think it will take off either!....remember this car is gutless below 3k for the most part and the AT is underpowered compared to the MT so ya'll lose even more

its normal.. I have the same car as you with a perfect compression engine.. that is the downfall of an auto.. But be Proud! you own an AMAZING car

I know this thing handles like a dream! Once I put some springs on it it should be even better
