I have just noticed some tire wear on both front and back tires of my car, their new tires about 4 months old I guess. The tires on back are 255/35/19 fronts are 225/45/19 . Its mostly on the rear, was wondering if it could be camber . I would post a pic but Im at work. Just looking for some clues what it could be...all the posts Ive found have been inside wear..:eyetwitch

Outside wear is usually excessive toe-in or (to a lesser degree) positive camber. Or you've been driving it hard without enough pressure and the tires have been rolling onto the shoulders.

\ / inward/outward w/e way u look at it lol . btw I live around nothing but curvy backroads, driving hard is not an option ;)

If you look at it from the back and the tops of the tires extend outward more than the bottoms it is a sign of too much positive camber. They should slant in so when you look at your car from the rear it should look like this, /\. Of course it isn't that excessive but you get the idea.

My advice is to get it checked out at a local alignment shop. It should cost about 80-100 dollars to get a full 4 wheel alignment and get it back to stock specs.

You really should get an alignment when you get new tires......You can wreck a new set of rubber really fast with an unaligned car
