I disagree, invoking the argument that the car can be fully Mazdaspeed loaded prior to delivery brand-new from the dealer. I contend that Mazdaspeed accessories are like adding any other options when sitting down with a salesman to buy an RX-8.

I contend that Mazda sanctioned and warranteed parts should therefore not be considered "modified". At least the MS parts with blue and green-level warranty. Orange is obviously meant for the track, and is specifically NOT warranteed anyway.

We will discuss this at our weekly meeting for the workers. When I purchased mine, Mazda Speed was a dealer add and install. The only difference from the factory was the "appearance package". I am open to some input on the subject.

You'll need to write her a retainer check before she does anything...legal.

 

Maybe a Mazdaspeed modified category? Otherwise the MS cars will be lost in a wasteland. Not stock, but obviously not mod trophy material.

See where I'm going? It's an orphan class if you lump them in with the typical after-market modded cars.

Some of us still have a couple of years left on our extended warranties. MS is our only option.
