We will be ready .......Weather is cool for this time of year.......So far none to the actual roads that we will use for the drive are under construction. I am going to wait one more week before I place the reservation at the HoffBrau house just in case there is an influx of last minute peeps. The Tees are being mailed on Friday, Erick is twisting arms for more raffle items, the order for the trophies is in but not yet set in stone, the penthouse is ready .

13X (Ray) did a number on his knee and may be on crutches for the event, the volunteer workers are ready. I think that this will be a good year. I know that everyone will have a good time.

 

Add my name to the AZ list. I'll be staying at the Orleans. Can't wait! Had a blast last year.

Thank you Jedi......hoping to see a few more cars from Cali. If your waiting for the last minute............you reached it. I don't think anyone that chooses to come will be disapointed. We have what we think is a really fun weekend planned for everyone. Even if you don't like your vacation planned........this is Vegas and who knows what can happen.

 

Some of the Cali names that are conspicuous in their absence are Reverend, Red Fox, Gr8bullet and Urban Ocho........... Urban Ocho posted that she had a travel conflict

Several peeps from out of town posted they wanted to come such as Bignatex, FoxeyL8y, Warbird and PDXHAK. I know FoxeyL8y was trying to find the $ and suggested that she do a donation post and I did offer the first donation......

There is still a little time left for a room..........Anyone is welcome that makes the sign up table on Friday night.

I usually order the table(s) based upon the peeps that register......Since I have to guarantee that we will fill the table, it can get expensive. I thought you three were here for the whole event last year?

You can come without regestering if you wish but may find that you are setting at another table.

 

Phil, can we get seperate checks at HH this year? I ended up paying a hundred bucks for what was supposed to be 3 meals. I bet you got stuck, as well.

 

For groups they do not offer separate checks or at least in the past have not. I see if they will do it this year but do not hold your breath.......The food is easy to figure but all the beer afterwords is tough to break up. Last year we had three tables and by the time the checks came we were down to two tables. My guess is that with three tables and the coming and goings of the bunch, three attendies got stuck with more than their share. I am sure it was not intentional but it is easy to forget how many beers you had when it comes time to pay the check......

It would solve the whole problem if they did separate checks but as I said they have refused in the past. I will be setting the table(s) reservation next week.

This is not SLC......they have a hard liquor bar at the Haus. Hell in Vegas some churches have liquor licenses

LOL, it's not so much about liquor laws, as it is drinking tequila in a "German" beer hall.

 

Well I'm half German and the other half Polish. If they bitch too much we can just blame it on the Polish side
