CA 2004 REW-Swap ready RX-8

REW Swap ready 04 RX-8 shell. Asking $1500 O.B.O.

Not looking to part out. Located in the East Bay, SF. If you want it shipped, you got have to organize it, I'll make my self available.

Car is an 04 that has been REW powered for 6 or 7 years. Garage kept for all but one winter.

I’ve had the car since 08 and can answer any questions.

The immobilizer kicked on and I’m not looking to mess with the electronics anymore, so I’m putting the motor into something else.

Body: No accidents, body is straight.
Dings/Dents on the body, all are fixable I think.
Paint is in pretty good shape for the age, all original paint still sparkles in the sun, but there are scratches and rock chips.
It’s 16 years old, but it looks decent for that age with no respray.

Interior: No seats, no seatbelts all other interior pieces are there, you’ll just have to put them back in.
Some of the pieces are painted black, some are flocked. Some will need clean up. I.E. the flocking on the dash didn’t take, but I can include the glue and material to finish as needed.

Stereo: I’ll include the Metra kit, the steering wheels control adaptor.
There are newish (8 months) alpine speakers all way around.
I can include a sub box for two 10’s (No subs) and an amp cover for the back, the amp cover needs some work, but does it’s job.

Suspension: BC Coilovers. Have had them for years on the car, ride awesome. Got them second hand, all I know is they ride well.
Megan rear toe bars and adjustable end links all the way round. Less then 5000 miles on those parts.
Brakes are aftermarket rotors and pads, lots of meat left, maybe 9 months old, stops dam well.
18x9" JNC esr wheels. Nothing fancy, they are reps, all straight small curb rash here and there. Pics as needed
245/40-18 Kumho Ecsta. 3000 miles only, looks brand new.

Engine bay: No engine, no trans, no starter, no intake manifold, no turbo.
I will include the following though.
FMIC with coupling and piping. Fabbed for tial BOV. BOV will NOT be included.
Custom top mount exhaust manifold with V-Band adaptor. Designed to use tial 44mm WG with recirc into downpipe. WG not included.
3 inch, two part downpipe v-band- at all connections.
Cat delete pipe I bought YEARS ago, no leaks, still works, not much to say.
RX7store.net cat-back system, 5000miles. Sounds good with the turbo on, no idea about stock.
Banzai Racing RX-8 REW motor mount with FB ‘race’ motor mounts.
-6 an fuel line from the fuel tank to the fuel rail.
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump, will include an aeromotive 340 pump new in box.

The Bad: You’ll want to replace at least the engine harness and probably the interior harness. When I was a kid, I disconnected the stereo wiring and just cut it out. (Not my proudest moment).

I’ve got a bunch of parts you’ll be welcome to pick through. The car needs some work, but it’s straight and rust free.
