Our donuts don't have holes . They are round and about 6" long . Hmmm perhaps not a gasket - more of a butt plug .

 

Ahh. We call those "eclairs" when they are filled and "coffee cake" when they are not.
There are variations with names like "maple log" and "toffee loaf", pursuant to their coatings.
"Donuts" (or "doughnuts" in their original form) have, by definition, a hole in the middle. Hence the "nut" portion of the name.
We tend not to use them as butt-plugs, but they are used as bribes for the local constabulary and how they are utilized from that point is nobody's business.

 

After much searching I managed to find a picture of what we call a "doughnut" . Why we call it that is anyones guess . You say tomato and all that ......
