I'd tow your 8 for ya but I'm pretty sure the bimmer's towing capabilities aren't even all that great.
Renting a truck would probably be the easiest thing to do, you could get a Silverado from Enerprise for only like $35 a day.
As Gregs said: you COULD drive it out there on a base map but if you go into BOOST, that could be a problem.

(gregs)^well thats what worries me + by that time its going to be summer and you know the Rotarys suck in the 100+ AZ weather. I dont even have an AP yet, but EASY is play around with Pinnochio rigth now...

ANYONE who has been sitting on the fence about buying an AP should definitely take advantage of this deal.
I don't see ANY reason why guys who mod their RX-8's and plan on driving them for a while don't have an AP. c'mon guys, this is the best money you'll probably ever spend on your car.

UPDATE your AP before this weekend.

......i say 'packpack' instead of 'backpack' all the time n' no body notices but when i type it out there's always that ONE mother f*cker that calls me out on it...

All you do is disconnect the actuator rod from the wastegate and let the wastegate blow open . You wont make any boost at all up until about 5000 rpm so it is no problem to drive it like that . .....
