The ULTIMATE SoCal Dyno Tuning Event - 2010

I think you've just about run out of Mods on that car Phil, so maybe the end of the install days in the Vegas sun are coming to a close for Ray and Erick?

now it's time to see some big HP numbers next month!
Are you joining us on Sunday as well or heading out of town in the morning?
Sunday?? Well my wife wanted to come with me this time so I doubt that I would be there on Sunday. She will be bugging me to get home so she can hit her favorite video poker machine.
When they plant me, it will end but until then hold on to your shorts. If I get to 300 then the body is next.

fixed.
Nope, I want to leave Saturday strictly for the FI guys since they are more time consuming and I want to make sure they all have plenty of time to get any possible issues sorted out. I anticipate each FI car will spend 90+ minutes on the dyno.
We'll get through all the AP N/A cars on Sunday and then get as many straigh dyno pull guys as we can until Steve kicks us out, we all get tired, I break the dyno again, or we get to 15 cars. Pretty much whichever comes first.
Also, I've got some ideas I wanted to run by you, I'll update the Wave later tonight.

Woohoo. What does the tune Include. I'm getting my maps from mm. Is the tune gunna be any diferent then having the mm custom maps?
^those are typically base maps that come with it. Typically you have to go back n' forth to get the correct numbers but in this case he'll be dynoing and tuning it in person...which is better.
Well count me In
. By then I'll have my header in. And won't even need to send him the data logs he can just do it there. I'll pm him just in case. Jedi for sure count me in 75 bux is a way good deal

robb: typically getting maps from MM involves a series of datalog submissions that you send him via email and then he sends you a map based on what he observed in the datalog. This can take anywhere between 3 and 7 maps before your car is "tuned".
This will allow MM to make real-time adjustments to your map in a real-world environment.
Put it to you this way: Dyno Tuning normally runs $300+ PER hour from local tuners. This will get you a great map in a much shorter time frame then if you were emailing back and forth with MM.
Not only that, but the maps you get via email from his calibration service are only as good as the logs you send him so if there's any descrepencies in that process, you end up not taking full advantage of the AccessPORT.
By far, this is the way to go.
If you want in, PM me today and I'll send you paypal info. I need deposits by tomorrow so I'll work with you to make that happen.
Let me know.

damn it Robb, you posted while I was typing.
No need to PM MM, trust me. (besides, he rarely responds to PM's on here)
PM me if you're in and I'll work with you on the details.
