Thanks for the b-day wishes I'll be at the A's game on Sat. then headed up to Calistoga for the weekend. Summer is here and time to get out on the road!! That will be a great drive to get started. Actually going to Hidden Valley...that road is great.

As for the BBQ...I don't think those dates will work. I'm headed up to Oroville the week of 4th of July...not sure about the wknd after that. I'll keep my eye on what is going on in the other thread.

well, still don't really have a set date. The spot would be either Valley Fair or Oakridge mall. Oakridge mall has a lot more places to hang out, but it's way south. I"ll keep everyone posted, though it's been kinda dead here.

Speaking of cookies, they brought some damn good ones in today for lunch. Went perfect with the catered sushi too. Almost as good as sushi boat. 1 more reason to go to the UC meets!

 

There's a sushi boat in Valley Fair...LOL...j/k.....really there is.

 

We should get a club discount for Sushi Boat.

 

Calistoga...up passed Napa...great Mtn. road to get into Calistoga. Of course when no traffic, even better.

No better sushi than Ninja Sushi in Gilroy!!!!! I could eat there every day. It would be cool to share that with you guys, but Gilroy is waaayy south for everybody I think.

Sweet!, glad to hear you guys can make it. I'm not very familiar with the 237/880/1st street, so, somebody come up with an easy to get to spot for everyone. I'm in south San Jose, so you guys will be on the way up.

 

There is a tiny strip mall on first street a couple blocks south of the 237 with a Subway and Maui Wowie coffee. The lot should be empty enough in the evening to meet up there. What time are we going to go though because evening traffic sucks in this area. I head west to go home, but east usually looks even worse.
