Whats up everyone, if you guys kept track of my "worst day" thread, you guys would know about Deam, the one that backed off selling me the Mazdaspeed bumper. Anyways, look what i found on craigslist: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/car/178821836.html

So, i'm irritated because what the fu*k! At the freaking last minute, you cancel our arrangement and now you're selling you're f'in ride?! Man.. Anyways, just venting it off right now. He posted $1550 for the front bumper, direct quote from the dealership. Also, he posted no dents and dings and scratches but he told me he has a few along side having to replace one of his fenders. Anyways, i'm sorry, just venting it all out right now.

On another topic, haven't got my 8 back from the shop yet. Its been about 2 weeks already. Not the body shops fault, its the dealers fault. One, i instructed the dealer to ship it to the body shop directly (ms bumper), it was suppose to be there on the 23rd of june. Got a call from the body shop on tuesday (june 27th) i believe letting me know that they didn't receive the front bumper yet. I called my dealership and the guy tells me that "hey Jon, your parts are ready for pick up." I'm like, what the hell, i told you guys to ship it over to the shop (i said it nicer than that). The guy was like "oh yeah, i'll ship it out tomorrow morning". So then, i call the dealership verifying it was shipped out then they tell me that they lost the address and need me to fax over the address and bussiness card. I'm like "what the fu*k" again, anyways, i fax it over and they said that it'll be shipped over the next morning. So i call the next morning and they said it wont be at the shop until that afternoon (around 4pm) because the shop is in San Jose (about 10-30 mins away from fremont). I'm like ok, whatever. Then i call the bodyshop to verify that the bumper was received at around 5:30pm (body shop closes at 6), they where like no packages have been received yet. I'm like.. pissed out of my mind.
Anyways, i called last saturday to verify that they received the bumper, they told me yeah. I was pretty pleased at that moment, like yeah, i'm gonna get my car back on monday! Stupid me, the body shop is closed on monday (july 3). I know its closed on july 4th. So then i'm just waiting for the call from the body shop, i call to verify that the car has been worked on and is almost completed. Then this morning, i get a call from the shop, im excited cause i think i'm gonna get my car back but nope, they told me that they installed the bumper yesterday but the fog light brackets i ordered where OEM and not Mazdaspeed!!! I specifically told the dealership that im ordering the mazdaspeed fog light brackets! IM PISSED and IRRITATED NOW! But then the guy from the shop tells me that he's going to special order that ms fog light bracket for me and do overnight delivery. I'm like okae, its going to cost me $87 total. $80 for the fog light bracket and $7 for overnight shipping. He told me that i'll have to go to the dealership and refund the oem fog light bracket. I'm pissed, i dont want to see them! I want to throw the fog light brackets in their face! But Jeff (guy from shop) assured me that my car will be done tomorrow. I'm hoping itll be done tomorrow! So thats where i am right now. I'll post up the fog light brackets for sale here and hopefully i can get my money back. If any reader is intrested, please look at the thread i'll be posting up in the parts for sale section. Sorry for the long read, thanks for reading, realloy appreciate it. Just had to let it allllllll out!

damn. i hate it when cars break down because then i have to deal with retarded dealers and shops. i know how you feel, im going through the whole arbitration process for the lemon law with my 05 civic which just shuts off whenever it likes when im driving and the dealer cant fix it. honda is being *** jackassy as possible. dealers suck.

Yeah, just got a cookie earlier. Been patient for a while, just pissed me off that the dealership gave me the wrong fog light brackets. Man.. that prologned the wait right there! Anywyays, yeah, im trying to calm down about it.

Brattesani: Sorry to hear about the civic man. Damn dealerships. Thats all i can say about it.... those retarded people...

anyway, i'll keep you guys updated and get pics in soon when i get my car back.

So what was the reason for having the bodyshop install it in the first place? Did you just want that done in addition to other work, because the MS bumper takes like 5 min to install.

 

I would of done it myself but im getting the door done, emblems painted and installed. Just thought i might as well get everything done there. And installing the front bumper is free.

haha, just trying to get the right camera in, all i have are pics from a camera phone and it doesnt do my car justice. Also, update, i installed my cold air intake yesterday as well. Just confused with something, i got to find the post with the question about installation for the intake.
