Jedi: i was talkin' about the repurchase program thru mazda because i got some letter in the mail stating mazda will repurchase my car for it's market value and it can be used towards buying a new or pre-owned mazda product. I'm thinkin' about trading it in for an M/T 08' or an M/T w/a touring or higher package. (you bastards kinda make me want a moon roof

 

oh, that's one of the oldest tricks in the book for dealerships.
they send me those things all the time about how they want to buy my car because there's a shortage of them despite the sudden demand, blah blah blah, we'll rape you in the *** on the new financing, blah blah blah, please sell us your 5 year old car, blah blah blah, we really wanna buy it.

Jedi: that's what i figure because my credit has probably gone down since i first purchased my car.

I was thinkin' about it n' i'm thinkin' if i switch up now, my monthly payments will go up by at least $150 to $200 and the terms may be extended until God knows when. To me, if the car payments can stay under 5 bills then i still might consider it...

if your credit has gone down, I really wouldn't recommend it to be honest. Financing companies (banks, dealerships, credit unions) have all gotten much stricter so it'll be tougher to qualify and if you do, they'll minnimize their risk by giving you a higher margin which equals a higher rate.

how many years do you have left on your loan? I doubt you really want another 5 years of car payments.
