Any Computer Science majors or PC techs here?

I have a small question. I'm running SLi right now and I was wondering if there's a way to enable both cards to be used for output instead of just one while retaining its SLI function.

i.e. 4 screen output.

Unfortunately, when I enable SLi, I can only get a two screen output through the two adapters on the Primary and none on the second... I want the second card on my SLi setup to work as an output card too.

Any info will be appreciated.

Oh, and I am currently removing all of my fan blown heatsinks so I can go full watercooling.

I'm already WC and I just ordered the WB for my Northbridge along with my two vid cards. I'm just debating on what radiator to go with.

I helped my son set up his computer with SLI. We had no problems setting up 4 screens. Is there a switch that has to be set on the motherboard? Some mobos do, others don't.

I don't see a switch or anything. When I enable SLI, the supporting card's video output gets disabled. It's weird, never had anything like it before.

Here is the story from yesterday, are you compiling data

Meh I was making a right turn right by Pasadena City College and stepped on it a little bit and saw there was a motorcycle cop coming behind me. At first I was like "maybe he didn't hear me" lol yeah right. He pulled me over and asked if I put anything on the car I said "no officer I think I have a leak or something because it sounds very 'blegh' and loud." So he just gave me a fix it ticket.

Only 15 minutes before I was trailed by a police car with his windows down who probably smelled me, I wouldn't be surprised if he put a call out to all the cops in the area...

He was actually pretty nice and didn't hassle me. He probably secretly liked my car heheh

Unfortunately, I don't have room for a triple. I only have room for a double... or two 120mm fans (which is going out by Monday). I'm currently running a 120mm radiator right now and my video cards hits 58C max while running FurMark for a couple hours. My CPU is clocked to 3.8Ghz with a OC FSB of 1600 and it benchmarks on Prime95 at 51C max.

Do you think my single radiator (salvaged from a dead Bigwater 760is) will be able to keep the temps down after I WC my North bridge and 4 hard drive water blocks?

Oh, and what coolant should I use? I've been using distilled water mixed with UV sensitive dye. Maybe I should upgrade to actual coolant...

I was going to the site to download/look at the mobos manual. They require you to register so it will be a no go. My son's mobo, there was a card, the size of a laptop dim, that had to be moved from one connector to the other to make the SLI work. My mobo doesn't require that.

Rev: haha, no I'm not compiling data. Just always curious how these things go down.
Glad to hear he was nice about the whole thing. throw an OEM exhaust on there, get it signed off and you'll be set.

so you're gonna have a double for the cpu/video cards and a single for the rest? the single should do the job and based on how you have it now, the double will do you good.

I actually dug the manual out of the closet the other day. They don't say anything about a card or jumper for SLI. I checked the BIOS and everything and there's nothing related to the SLI configuration.

It's just that I got two 17'' flat panel monitors for fifteen bucks a piece from some guy on Craigslist last week and I figured I'd put it to good use by setting up a quad display. I like going overboard on stuff sometimes.
