The NT555's are rated lower in wet/dry/handling... but are more expensive....
and the Nitto Invo's @ 255/40/18 are $199 a piece which is not bad considering that they have a 4.5 rating on all categories.. dry/wet/handling/noise/treadwear/ etc.

Im just trying to plan everything out before I start my build. I am going to need some rubber to get that Powa to da Flow....yah know?! I might end up going with Nitto Invo... since the price is abit cheaper and the Tread Pattern is sexy as ****.. i dont know...NT05 or Invo for sure though.

 

mike, keep the stockies just in case you bust a flat or damage your wheels. Use em' as spares. My stockies saved my *** a couple of times.

 

maybe i should mount r comps on the stockies lol

 

If any of you are wondering.. Yea I am a Nitto (Toyo) Fanboi, however that is not the reason I am not considering any other Tire Manu. 2009 Redline Time Attack Champion (EVOX) ran Nitto, the Bergenholts RX8 runs NITTO NT05s, Mostly all Formula Drift Cars run NITTO/TOYO. Many Corvette on the LSX forums are starting to run NT05's. I mean if everyone is making the swtich? and the 5 star rating (highest rating) cant be wrong.

 

Just making sure. They have the best prices I've ever seen.
