Random thought - that commercial where those guys were listing all the things they'd do for their gf's in exchange they'll get to drive what they want - if they put the new camaro on there in black - i would've almost immediately traded my car in for it. i <3 the look of the new camaro's in black
what was the auto tune BL commercial?? I don't hink i saw that one. Then again...i did black out around the 3rd quarter and woke up some where around the end of the 4th.
heh.
btw, rev - you thinkin' about trading?? for what? what's next after the 8 for you??? You're looking at BIMMERS AREN'T YOU?? AREN'T YOU!??!?

Matt: don't listen to mike - there is something wrong with that.
(tho funny things tend to happen when you listen to mike and i feel like being entertained) Don't be one of those guys that owns a ferrari but lives in an apartment. Upgrade other parts of your life equally instead of individually. You already have a nice car and a 'nice' job - work on getting a nice place now. When you can - get a nicer job - then get a nicer car - then get a nicer place. Not get same job - live with parents but have super uber sick car. Obviously priorities come into play.
that's IMO of course. You could always be 'that guy' if you'd like

wow, that TPain commercial was pretty lame. I hate mainstream so much.
what up Rory! You on MW2 yet?? I'm so hooked on that ish right now. I'm getting a lot better now. I'm always placin' in the top 3 in almost any match now.
Kinda helps that i'm always getting UAV

Just wanted to chime in my thoughts; living in an apt with a nice car is a great idea especially if you don't know where you want to live yet. Getting a house at such a young age, especially 20's is not smart. With the housing economy and such, you're just going to shoot yourself in the foot.
Until you KNOW where you want to live for the next 20+ years, I would not suggest getting one and going through all the hassle of moving out in another few years unless you plan on trying to make money off it and know what you're doing.
That being said, I lived with parents till I was 26 and moved out of state for my job. My main reason was because I did my BS and MS taking 7 years total before moving on the following year. But at least get your own place, apt or house, before investing in a car. I didn't buy my own brand new vehicle until I had my own place with income nor my 8. Apt or house doesn't matter, just have your own place eventually.
PS, it looks better in a woman's view when you got your own place.

I can agree with that. But when you look at the costs for the overhead of everything including the hassle moving in and out depending how long you stay there for and with the housing bubble easily having your house losing face value in a few years up to say, 30-40k depending on the area, apts don't look too bad.

I would probably get an EVO or STI or older M3. I realize that it is touch and go depending on what you are looking for in a car whether this are upgrades or downgrades. Even I don't know what I might want in a year but I know that I don't want to deal with the 8's likely engine issues. I'd rather buy a FC for cheap to mod.
Ballin' while living at the parent's crib ain't truly ballin' IMO. Iono - leanin' on people has never been my thing - even when it was just more convenient. Even now with my brother, i'm only there to lend a hand with things since there's a bunch of stuff goin' on with my fam - but i don't neccessarily need to be there. I say strike out on your own and get a feel for what it's like to be independent.

^This is probably the most important part over everything else...because...well...isn't it the most important thing when you're young??
I'll worry about credit/mortgages/marriage when i'm old......like when i'm 25 or something
p.s. - i see someone's on ISPY

Agreed, just tell that to the rest of the dumbass population.

Agreed, but there is a difference between balling out shacking it out at parents place contrast to giving through getting through school and landing a professional jobs. Those who stay at home for a long time and take out leases for top sports cars and all that crap or leech off parents money indeed should move out. I've never taken a dime from my parents in college other than support for books. Paid for my own ****, side job, even had enough income to pay for racing equipment on the weekend. Once school was done, moved on.
