The V6 comes with 306 to the flywheel stock, but your not getting much past that you'd be lucky to see 300 whp that's with extensive modification.

Always go stock turbo always...
With full exhaut, intake, and tune, the 3.8t made ~300whp, according to a magazine review (possibly Modified?). Essentially factory reliability with a nice exhaust note (I'm guessing), and a fair amount of power. That's the route I'd take at least, if I didn't plan to do extensive engine mods...

My money is on the 2.0T.

Yea the v6 will make 300 whp maybe even hit 350 after extensive work and money.

But if you put that same money into a 2.0t you'll get more power its as simple as that. Always go with the turbo I learned that lesson many times.

That's crazy talk and you know it. No self respecting forum monkey stops there. You at least need some rainbow lug nuts.

If 3 series bmw are half as common there as they are here, I wouldn't suggest that. It's like wearing an Ed Hardy shirt or something.

you guys ever consider he just wants a solid car, and not wanting to crazy modding another car or thinking about tracking.
The 3 series is so common because bimmers are just solid cars.
