Rev:did you check out safelite? They replaced my last window on the RX-8 and did an excellent job.

be careful with what type of glass some of those guys use, Chinese glass is not very good but it's cheap so it's used quite often. The glass pits VERY easily, ask me how I know. (I'm on my 3rd windshield in the 8)

 

I keep telling you to move the dart board in your garage.

They have not asked me to smog my car since I got it. Its been like 3 years

 

you dont smog a new car til like after 6 years, 2004 rx8s are barely getting their first smog, then whenever there is change of owners it has to be smogged

 

It depends how old the car is; I actually thought when a car was new it was an extra 8 years before smog, unless change of ownership/ticket/etc but now I don't remember. Evil John's FB status has me worried lol

edit: Ah, 6 years. Well, that's not good, looks like I'll be smogging in December.

Yes '05 but my car's registration is January. Actually, looks like I have one more full year, it was purchased Jan 06' which would make my first smog day Jan '12.
