Those that are violent drunks certainly don't have the same explanation, I would guess that they are drinking because they are trying to forget something or make it go away, even if thinking they are just "Trying to be happy for a while", and when mentally impaired, they can't distinguish between the surface reasons and the real reasons. Probably similar to how they have trouble distinguishing between the paved road surface and that tree.

I'm saying it's in the right direction, but swinging too far. Like over-correcting on a drift... it's bad.
Just to add onto Riwwp -

i believe that all people are passionate about certain things in their lives. One of which i know for certain are their beliefs. People who love each other can still have different beliefs and opinions which may conflict but that is where respect comes in to bridge the gap. These are all pillars that need to be in place in a solid relationship.

People grow up differently and people experience different things which cause disagreements. Being different is a beautiful thing in that we will never all be the same but it is also a curse in that we will not always agree. Embracing and understanding these differences are what helps keep some relationships going on strong.

In short - loved ones argue because of differences in belief - resolutions are found when respect is given and received. IMO, when someone says 'they love someone for their mind, body and soul' i always invisioned that this is what they meant.

But now, with that statement, you are falling into doing what society says "is the right way". Which, IMO, is a load of bull and people should feel free to just be themselves.

Men and women are not the same, and have different attractions for different reasons. While both should chose a style they like and try to make it look or work well, the desire or personality for certain tastes are different. The attraction is different, men are interested in a woman's looks first where a woman is interested in a man's personality first (usually). This is why women always down through history try to look much better than men even if the guy dresses proper. Face it, women is the more beautiful of the 2 of them. Different characters and attractions bring both together.
One must remember, the one thing that keeps a relationship healthy is sexual attraction. It is what the two in the relationship first experienced to even talk/give the other the light of day to start the "spark of desire". It is when (usually, of course there are always outliers) one or both start to loose that sexual attraction toward the other, is when one or both cheat on their partner. They are getting that desire fulfilled by other means (i.e. another man or woman)

That's not always true. In fact, most infidelity's can be related to not being emotionally fulfilled. Men go to other women who accept them for who they are and get that feeling they are missing in their current relationship. Women do so for missing a guy who is giving them their emotional fulfillment to listen to them and so forth. A lot of people think it's because of the sexual attraction lacking, but that's a small part.

If a relationship is based on sexual attraction, it will never succeed. Eventually it will fall. It takes work and you have to realize, the attraction will not always be there sexually not because necessarily that the other person doesn't look physically attractive, but because they're not getting their other needs met whether intellectually, emotionally, so forth.

Problem with this society is people cheat because they no longer feel sexually attracted to their partner and move on; that's a cop out. It takes work and the feeling of that attraction alike to feeling of love comes and goes. Don't think in a perfect relationship it's always there, it's not. Sexual attraction should be a result of clicking with the individual, and love being the overseer of the relationship. Without the latter, it's never gonna last and without the first, it's opening doors for them to look elsewhere because of the root cause being their other needs are not met.

I agree, everyone should "be themselves", the problem is, no one is actually and truly extreme. Those that think they are are simply resorting to extreme measures trying to be seen/heard/noticed. (or have some level of mental issue)

I actually think that society is too accepting of "extreme", and that "reasonable" and "moderate" is too frequently what is shunned as taboo. Although at the same time, conforming is what is sought after.

For example, last year in a department meeting, we went around the room, everyone telling the department something about themselves and what they like to do in their spare time. 90% of the people said "work on my house or yard". A few were extreme sports fans to the point of actually losing their temper over disputes with others that like opposing teams, and while that generated comments and smiles, more than the yard work, it was accepted. There was shocked silence when I said that I love auto-sports and track racing, and that I was seeking to do more of it. The VP quickly moved on to the next person.

Why is hostile extreme sports fan acceptable but controlled, sanctioned, and heavily regulated autosports not? If I had said "wrenching on my car", that probably would have been more acceptable, though hardly different.

You had to be actually extreme, or love yard work.

My train of thought took a left turn at Albuquerque.... I have no idea where I am any more.

Have you checked the Appearance subforum at all?

Perhaps you missed the body kit thread where it has pictures of every body kit made for the 8?

Atilla, assuming you are getting lugs with one locking lug (16 regular, 4 locking) your only choices will be T1r Purple extended locking or Project Kics R40 NeoChro.

I want the T1r purple so I say go for the kics NeoChro! :P

And Another $2,200 for "My RX-8 flooded on my after a 20 min drive and it cost me $2200 to get it running again after plugs, starter, battery, labour, this, that..."
