i have a pretty conservative drop also and i can't imagine going any lower for a DD.

yeah so i just went through like 3 DYI's on custome intakes and I think some of them are not such a bad idea!....and cheap...but i will still want to get a AEM/MS intake...they are the same ****...but yeah because a AEM intake u can always re'sell on the forum...so thats what im leaning towards.....AEM.... or the mode of remvoing walla and 1 screen with the RAM DUCT from Racing Beat... either one or the other...and BTW RENESIS YOU ARE GOING TO HELP ME WITH THIS PROJECT! and also...I think the 2 wall mod+screen removal with the REVI RAM DUCT will look way way better....however....what about the rain? with the duct? Keep in mind i already have the KN drop in filter...

In the "clearcorners custom tailights" thread i posted a rather lengthy comment about me customizing my car like no other DD RX8 has been, or even thought of doing....Heres one of my projects in the works....a couple of pics ..And Its more then just what you think....a total of 5 ideas are going into one...hope you enjoyed the teaser pics....and BTW what the hell are these for? just to get ur trunk dirty from outside dirt?? nope....wont need it if im only using that one 10" Clif DESIGNS in the pic....1100 watt w/ 1100 watt amp...enough SPL...trust me...i might dynomat the back of my license plate....thats the only thing that rattles...but my project is way different than dynomat...

 

Lets just say I like Winning Blue way way too much....

I did a custom duct with a pvc pipe lowered my intake temp by about 40 degrees I also put in a k&N panel filter.

Don't worry about rain unless you drive through a puddle about 2 feet deep.

little sprinkles of rain are fine they will turn to vapor before it even hits the maf.

as for intake choices you wont need any ram air duct if your not utilizing the stock box or the RB box its essentially pointless.

you'd gain more by taking out the vfad and all ducting with it.

I can help you with whatever to, we can do your intake and springs in the same day.
